Born and raised in Oklahoma, Lara considers Shawnee her hometown, but has lived in Oklahoma City since 1995. She relocated from Oklahoma City to Ardmore 2013 after marrying her husband, Brett, an Ardmore native. Lara has been a full-time Realtor with Claudia and Carolyn Realty group since March of 2014. Lara has one beautiful daughter, Jamie who is 24 years old.

The family has lived in five states with his career but after 42 years he “retired” and came home to Ardmore and is embarking on new career in real estate. Mike and his wife, Jacque have two children. Madison, their daughter, graduated from Plainview and attends the University of Oklahoma where she is majoring in Political Science with a minor in Spanish. She works in the Pasley, Farabough, and Mouledoux law firm and enjoys spending time on the farm in Love county with her Grandmother. Dayton attends Ardmore High School and is on the High School Tennis Team. The entire family is active in all facets of their church, St. Philips Episcopal Church, located in downtown Ardmore.
Jacque, a graduate of Southeastern Oklahoma State University works at Ardmore‘s Charles Evans School. The family loves to travel and do so as often as possible. Mike also is a farm boy at heart as is evident by his garden and urban poultry “condo” that he has at his home. Mike and Jacque have been married for over 27 years and celebrate their anniversary each year on February 14.

In 1988 Susan and John Watt, whom she had met while studying in Scotland, were married in Ardmore, and he moved Susan to Edinburgh, where John was an Advocate (Attorney). While living in Scotland, John became a Queen’s Counsel and subsequently they were invited to be the guest of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II’s garden party at the Palace of Holyrood House.
In 1995 they immigrated to America and lived in Denver, Colorado where Susan was employed with The Integer Group, a promotional company. In 1998 they moved to Silverthorne, CO, to enjoy skiing in the winter and golf in the summers. The Watt’s became licensed Real Estate Brokers while there, and in 2002 they moved to Eagle, CO, where they worked for Vail’s premier real estate company, Slifer Smith and Frampton. Susan worked with customers from East Vail to Gypsum guiding them through the buying and selling process, making the transaction process both smooth and enjoyable. Susan understands real estate from various perspectives, as she has worked closely with developers in Sales and Marketing to assisting sellers with marketing properties to their optimum advantage in the various advertising mediums available today.
Susan and John, moved back to Ardmore in 2015 to spend quality time with Susan’s parents and to enjoy the four-seasons Ardmore has to offer. Susan’s personal interests include: playing golf at the Perry Maxwell, signature golf course at Dornick Hills Country Club. Susan is a member of the literary organization, Ladies of the Leaf, and is a member of The Goddard Center, Ardmore’s cultural center. John and Susan also attend the Opera in Santa Fe each summer. Susan is a member of Christ Community Church and attends the Tuesday Morning Bible Study at First Baptist Church. She loves gardening, and overseeing the remodel and décor of their home.

Lisa Riggle has been an active Real Estate Associate since 2006. She is a life-long resident of Ardmore and has taught in the Ardmore School System and is the current Vocal Music Director for Dickson Public Schools. First he taught in middle school, then high school, then counseled in high school, then ended the run as school principal in middle and high schools. Mike, a native Ardmoreite, was raised on a farm in Love County and graduated from Turner Schools and attended Murray State College and Oklahoma State University.
At the age of 16 Mike began his first career working at the cookie factory in Marietta and at retirement was Plant Director at the world’s largest Cheez-It plant making over a million pounds of product a day for Kellogg Snacks.
Janet received her Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from Texas Tech University. Her interests include family, gardening, traveling and home improvement and décor. She is married to Jerry Bateman and has three step-children, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Janet Bateman came to Claudia and Carolyn Realty in 2013 after being affiliated with another Ardmore broker for the past four years. In addition, she has worked for the Ardmore Chamber of Commerce, Ardmore Development Authority and Ardmore Convention Center for 28 years helping grow the community we live in. Previously, she was a self-employed Petroleum Landman. Through economic development and landman experiences, Janet gained relevant knowledge of Ardmore, commercial property and title documents.
Raised in Ardmore, Claudia has a son, Christopher, who is a graduate of Oklahoma State University, with a Major in Finance and Economics and a minor in Accounting, and is employed with Chesapeake Energy in Oklahoma City. Claudia has spent over 34 years in the real estate business and has been a top producer for many of those. She is a full-time Broker Associate, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. She enjoys “selling Ardmore” because it has so many wonderful things to offer. A graduate of University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree, Claudia has a creative bend that allows her to “work deals” that may not happen otherwise. She taught school at Ardmore High School for seven and a half years and part-time at Oak Hall Episcopal School for several years.
Jennifer joined the Claudia and Carolyn Realty team in January of 2014. She moved to Ardmore in 1969, so she considers herself a lifelong resident and is very familiar with all that Ardmore has to offer. Jennifer has four wonderful children, her son Garrett and his wife Sara, who live in Oklahoma City and her daughter Carlie and her husband Dillon, who live here in Ardmore.
Susan was born and raised here in Ardmore, graduating from Ardmore High School in 1974. She attended OSU for three years, before transferring to and graduating from Texas A&M University with a Bachelors of Sciences degree in Recreation and Parks Administration in 1981. Susan spent the spring semester of her junior year attending the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. Upon graduation, Susan moved to Dallas, Texas and worked in the Sales and Marketing Industry, selling promotional products.
Jamie graduated from Edmond North High School and is currently in Nursing School. Lara also has two wonderful step-daughters: Mary Kate, 7 and Macie, 4. Brett and Lara attend First United Methodist Church in Ardmore. They enjoy spending time with family, camping and working on home improvement projects together.
Before moving to Ardmore, Lara worked in marketing and sales for Epworth Villa, a large Methodist retirement community in Oklahoma City. During her 10 year career there, she helped many retirees work through the decision-making process of selecting and moving to a retirement community.
Lara prefers to take a consultative approach when working with buyers. “I know Buyers don’t need me to “sell” them a house. My goal is to help them find a home that truly feels right for them, even if it takes a little more time.”
After attending Oklahoma University, Carolyn married Don Yeager and made Ardmore her home. They raised two children – Lisa Riggle, a teacher at Dickson Schools and a fellow Realtor at Claudia & Carolyn Realty Group and Todd Yeager, who is a self-employed Landman.
Through the years Carolyn has given back to the community through services as first Director of Volunteers at the hospital, President of United Methodist Women, FUMC Mission trips to Mexico, CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate), Ladies of the Leaf Literary Group and Leadership Ardmore.
In her profession, she has served two terms as President of the Southern Oklahoma Board of Realtors, member of State Legislative Committee and recently elected State Director of the Oklahoma Association of Realtors. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors. In 2003, Carolyn was honored as “Realtor of the Year” by her fellow Realtor members and again honored as “Realtor of the Year” in 2012.
She enjoys spending time with her children, family, and her German shepherd, Ruger. Also when she isn’t working she loves to paint and travel. She will have a new activity to enjoy in 2016 with the arrival of her first two grandchildren!
